I’m Marlee, the owner and lead planner behind Rhyme & Reason Events. I’m a lover of thoughtful details, beautiful celebrations, and any excuse to bring people together. Whether it’s an intimate mountain elopement or a big, bold party, I believe your wedding should be as unique as your love story—and I’m here to make that happen.

My background? I earned my degree in Communication and played Division 1 soccer at the University of Southern California (Fight On!). After spending over seven years in the corporate world, I discovered my true passion while planning my own wedding. That experience lit a fire in me—I realized how much I loved the planning process, from big-picture dreaming to tiny, meaningful touches. So I made the leap, combining my organizational skills, creative eye, and love for connection to build Rhyme & Reason Events.

I know that planning a wedding can feel overwhelming, but it doesn’t have to be. My goal is to bring clarity, calm, and a whole lot of joy to the process—so you can actually enjoy this moment in your life.

When I’m not designing wedding timelines or fluffing veils, you’ll find me outdoors with my husband—floating the Boise River, camping in the Tetons, or snowshoeing in Sun Valley. We’re always chasing adventure, making memories with friends and family, and soaking in life’s little joys.
